Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before you schedule.

Learn how consultations, TRT care, transfer care, and additional programs work before deciding whether Unleashed Medical is right for you.

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. The initial video consultation requires no credit card and creates no obligation to enroll.

Will I speak with Samuel or with a salesperson?

You will speak directly with Samuel W. Ranney, PA-C, the provider who handles evaluation, prescribing, laboratory review, follow-up care, and protocol adjustments.

Who can receive care?

Unleashed Medical provides telemedicine services to eligible men and women located in Florida at the time of care. The TRT program is focused on men, while select additional programs are available to both men and women.

Do you work with women?

Yes. Select weight-management, peptide, vitamin, and other clinician-directed programs are available to women. Unleashed Medical does not currently provide female hormone-replacement therapy.

What additional programs are available to men and women?

Available services may include medical weight management, selected peptide therapies, injectable vitamins, laboratory testing, and other clinician-directed medications. ED treatment is available for men. Program options are discussed privately based on individual needs and goals.

Do I need laboratory results before scheduling?

No. You can schedule the consultation first. Baseline testing will be discussed after your history and any prior results are reviewed. Recent complete results may be accepted when useful.

Does a testosterone result within the laboratory reference range automatically disqualify me?

No single testosterone result determines the entire evaluation. We consider symptoms, medical history, test timing, total and free testosterone, goals, and repeat testing if needed before making recommendations.

Does a consultation guarantee TRT?

No. The consultation is an opportunity to discuss symptoms, history, prior treatment, testing, and whether further evaluation makes sense. Any treatment recommendation must be medically appropriate.

Do you use the same dose for everyone?

No. There is no cookie-cutter dosing. Protocols are based on individual symptoms, labs, history, goals, and response.

Do you automatically prescribe an estrogen blocker?

No. Additional medications are not added routinely. Protocols are individually adjusted to reduce unnecessary ancillary medications.

What does ongoing TRT care include?

Ongoing care includes clinical management, required follow-up TRT laboratory testing, unlimited scheduled follow-up consultations, and direct call, text, and email access to Samuel for treatment-related questions.

Can I transfer from another TRT clinic?

Yes. Email recent labs and any treatment information you have to admin@unleashedmedical.com. Recent labs are the minimum needed to begin the transfer process; additional records are helpful but not required to schedule a conversation.

Are discounts available?

Yes. Discounted program pricing is available for eligible Veterans, first responders, and TRT transfer patients. Eligibility can be discussed during the free consultation.

Can TRT affect fertility?

Yes. Testosterone therapy can suppress sperm production. Discuss current or future fertility goals before starting or continuing treatment so they can be considered in the plan.

How are follow-up questions handled?

Active patients may call, text, or email Samuel directly for treatment-related questions. Messages may be sent at any time and are typically answered within 24 hours.

Are additional programs separate from TRT?

Yes. Weight management, peptide therapies, vitamins, ED treatment, additional laboratory testing, and other medications are separate services. Active TRT patients may qualify for preferred pricing on additional services when prescribed or needed.
