Testosterone itself does not cause balding. Dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a byproduct of testosterone, can cause balding.

How susceptible your scalp is to balding from DHT will largely depend on your genetics.

If concerned about balding and need Testosterone Replacement Therapy, I suggest opting for an injectable form, injectables are less likely to overproduce DHT than TRT gels/creams.
